Step into the relaxing world or weaving and learn how to create a fabulously textured wall-hanging using ancient techniques!
Slow down as you are taught step-by-step how to weave up to 6 techniques using textiles such as 100% silk, merino wool, cottons and more in this tactile workshop. You'll create your piece on a frame loom and learn everything needed to get creative and experiment with different effects.

-All of your fabrics, resources and equipment to create one woven wall hanging measuring approx. 20cm x 25cm

What you will learn?
How to warp your loom with cotton threads
Up to 6 techniques include tradition tabby weave, basket weave, soumak weave, tassels, pile weave, rya knots
Experiment with the techniques to create different effect and shapes
How to tie off your piece of weaving
Choose from 3 techniques to attach a wooden dowel in order to hand your woven piece.
You'll leave with a completed piece of weaving ready to proudly hang in your home or gift to someone special!
Suitable for complete beginner's! Children aged 12+ are welcome to join with an attending adult.
